If ever some one wants to make me happy ,cook me some  old fashioned finger licking good barbeque.
For the holiday I didn't cook much because I was ill thanks to Keith. However I'm  planning  do over. This time I'll do chicken  this time for I've got some of the rub left over.









Now this is a dish that can truly make you forget about your diet. Caution please for I am not respond able for any thing I do when it comes to this dish.
Bar be que is one of my favorite dishes. I still like the slow roasted  grill way, with  the finger licking good sauce. I MUST BE CAREFUL FOR ITS VERY HARD NOT TO OVER DO THINGS. SMILE
I used  the dry rub that I  made at the open house. I can say that it was very good thanks so much. I am truly a fan of it .Oh yea I though that I had all the ingredients ,only to find  that I was out of the sauce. I went to the cabinet and began to search for ingredients, and yes I was very happy with the resorts.

With Memorial Day coming I don't know how I can stick to my diet of fruit ,veges and water. But then again I think, I do know! I'll eat less of my favorite dish barbeque Don' you agree?
 I believe that this is truly more appealing than the meatloaf. Just saying who would do that to a child?
While watching the Test cooking network I picked up  two more recipes.One  is roasted chicken with a mushroom sauce, the other meatloaf with wild mushroom included as a binder and the other used in the sauce. I only wish that I could send a video of the finished product..

Just wanted to say that ,the food that was prepared for the open house could have been better. I Believe the there was not enough proper time for the execution  of the grilled corn , nor the chicken wings.

Saw a very interesting recipe on the food network channel, forgot the chef's name but the dish was watermelon, roasted shrimp, with goat cheese salad. Sounds very interesting doesn't it . I know can't wait to try it

Even though I am not a fan of roman noddle's I am excited about the competition, so much that I left that day upon hearing and went out and brought a pack. Experimenting with them I came up with quit  a few new dishes. It kind of changed my mind about them. 
Whenever my body gets weak I have to turn to my pot liquids. You know all the vitamins that are gathered in the juices. I put on a pot of great northern and pinto mixed. Made some cornbread muffins, but this time I chopped up some crispy bacon and added it to the mix. All I can say is that I MUST REFRAME FROM GOING INTO THE KITCHEN
One of the young men from the International class often me a sandwich which he had made. I must say it was truly delicious. Being I am true fan of lunchmeat it really hit the spot. M any thanks to him.

DIDN'T  much care that my food was brought to me on a tray where my food was right under the server's hair.
LIKE driving in the heavy traffic nor standing in the long lines.
IT was entirely to much food.

Water and fruit is my new diet plan, so for so good. While doing so I said that I would challenge myself to try new fruit. I know that there are so many, I'll just take the summer and see whether or not I can stay with it.  With hope of becoming healthier, as well as losing weight.
While sitting in the library, my  stomach begin to growl of hunger. I was about to do something  which I really try to stay away from , go to the smack machine. Just as I was about to make the move, Chef Demeko stepped in and asked if anyone was hungry? Yea he saved me as well as the day. It was salad, spaghetti with a wonderful tomato sauce, and a garlic butter toast. I can say now that my tummy feels so good. And yes I thanked and complimented him.

I caught half a segment of the food channel, they were doing some type of blackened fish. I don't know the type of fish or all the ingredients, however I do know that I truly want to see the  whole show    
I really found much pleasure while working with the Junior  High School Competition Team. I believe that I was more excited than they were nervous. smile  I wanted help more than what was allowed .Chef Chi told me to let them do things by themselves.

Yesterday we had another one of our annual family picnic. I Found myself critiquing every dish I really wanted to bring some of my culinary teachings, but the preparing were already done and I forgotten about it. But guess what. I will be on board next year and maybe even the caterer.
