I must say that I am truly happy with 2 of  White Castle's new additions.  They are both sliders. one bacon cheeseburger the other fish and cheese. Oh I know  they just may be the original  sandwiches , but  something different has be added its got to be the love and care. Just saying I can feel and taste it . :)

I SAW AN ESIPODE ON THE FOOD NETWORK CHANNEL WHERE THEY COOKED BAKED FRIED CHICKEN. IS THAT AT ALL  POSSIBLE?  YES, AND IT SURE LOOKED  GOOD . I KNOW THAT IT TASTED THAT WAY ALSO.CAN'T WAIT TO TRY IT.
I was doing a little spring cleaning when .I came across some old and new recipes.Some from the old phases , some that I wrote down when watching the cooking channel (which is my favorite one).I then organized them and said that I would cook  dishes per week.

I believe that this is the way I want to cook whereas there will not be as many leftover or foood waisted. Also I won't spend as much time cooking as I normally do.
I was about to prepare Sunday dinner, you know 2 vege and  protien. When I realize that it was going to be to much food.Memory soon took me to the place that when prepareing culinary dishes they were always and individuial dishes. So Ipulled out a piece of fish ,added 2 sides of vege ,and called it a day.

JUST MESSING AROUND AND CREATE A NEW DISH FOR MYSELF . IT WAS SO GOOD I EAT THE WHOLE THING IT WAS ONLY A SMALL PORTION THOUGHT. MY PHONE DOESN'T DO ALL THAT FANCY STUFF SO I WAS UNABLE TO VIDEO OR TAPE IT.

MANY TIMES I SEE RECIPES OF THE FOOD CHANNELS. BUT THEY HAVE A TIME LIMIT AND IT IS VERY HARD TO COPY THEM.SO SAD FOR THEY ARE TRULY SOME GOOD ONES ON THERE.I WILL JAVE TO FIGURE OUT SOMETHING.

While surfing the web I found something that I wasn't looking for ,but had long wanted. A recipe for corn pudding. Although it is a savory one I believe that I can change it.

I need to remind myself to bring a lunch. There is really not food being prepared around here in the evening. Or they is not enough to give everybody.   I can deal with that, although my stomach can't. smile

EASTER WEEKEND

The Easter week end was grand. Although I was invited to friends and family homes for dinner, whereas I normally do the cooking it was most enjoying. Just sitting back fellowshipping with other  I must say it was very relaxing.

I was out and about todaywent to walmart.Walked in on the taste samplers smoked salmon dip with dill and sour cream.new to me but very tasty. Another one was an fruit salad once with yogart dressing I think that one needed some crunch.

You tell me.I  know that I am doing something right but there is still a missing ingredient. My goodness what can it be, am I not letting it simmer long enough? Are the measurements off. Oh well here comes another do over. smile

Evidently I am still missing one of the main ingredients of blogging. It feels as if  I am missing the seasoning and must continue to add until the flavor is were you want it.

Well I have came back down to earth now. It was all amazing while it lasted. I am truly looking forward to something of this matter again.

I hate that I was in such a hurry, or that I had to go to work. One, because I wanted to view the overall finish project, and that I missed the peach cobbler, and the mac & cheese. I truly felt that all went well and that miss Robbi was well pleased
Before leaving I asked if it was ok to take a little something with me to eat. Igrabbed a little of the greens (for you know the AP is not the same as the EP) after cooking,and a lot of the pot liquid for energy.I also got a small piece of chicken.I really wished that I had taken a second piece.
My dish was ham hocks and collar greens. At first I was worried about the time frame,greens normally take about 2-3 hours, but I had to come up with something to make things work faster than that being I had to leave for work.
I really enjoyed it friday cooking for miss Rorri the owner of Sweetie Pies restuarant in Stl. She was filming from the school on 4/14/14.Every one was in a fransy and all excited. However that didn't stop or hinder the taste of dished that each student was responable for preparing
